What is my next step?

The first step in getting your own web page is to understand that you need one and then satisfy yourself the budget matches your need.

We suggest you also look at the existing websites of competitors in your industry.

Examples of what to include are:

  · Who you are.
· What you do including your 'Unique Selling Point'.
· Where you are.
· How to contact you via your address, telephone, email etc.
  (Strangely, often overlooked!)
· What your products are and what they look like
  (pictures tell the story best).
· Pricing.
· Include an 'About' section which tells people about your presence
  in the marketplace.

Whenever you can, give information freely. The more your customers know about you, the more they will be encouraged to trade with you. Avoid making people register with you in order to get the information they want. Encourage them to contact you (with a feedback form for example). Make sure your web site is easy to navigate. For instance, the links at the top of this page give immediate access to every page on the site.

Do I need to be able to design web pages?

No, of course not.
That is why you use us. But you should have an idea of what you want and how you want it to look. Perhaps you can select a style from our example styles page. Or you may have seen something good elsewhere. Or you may have a novel idea.

We suggest that you ask us to keep the site simple, since your visitors will not want to spend any time learning how to use your special effects!

Keep your pages easy to read

Contact us at an early stage

By involving us at the concept stage, we will be able to help us to help you develop a web page that is easy to implement. This office encourages simple, low cost, attractive designs for the web to allow you to start out at low risk. If you want a complex solution, eg, 'virtual tours', you may need a larger publishing house, a much larger budget, and, most importantly, the backup in your company to support on-line shopping demand.

Initial discussions with us to the estimate stage are free. Call us by telephone or email without obligation.
