It’s tagine time! Or if you prefer Volcano Time!* And, although they are not too bad at this time of the year, we are anticipating a grounding of all flies in the area for several days!

So, all eyes are on the cloud of ash which continues to pour out, and on the weather which continues to refuse to blow it away!
Now if they were coming by train as we had suggested in the first place.....
As for the tagine, there are now some delicious smells coming up here from downstairs. So it is time to publish this blog and prepare to discover the tagine taste. Will I declare an opinion? Come back soon and see!

At first all I heard was ‘It’s all gone wrong’ and ‘It’s a mess’ but in fact yesterday’s meal was super. The lamb was so tender and the fruit with it and the couscous were great. Very different, but June was very glad to have tried it just with us (we ate very late in the evening).
And now the sun is shining and it’s far to nice to stay indoors writing this. Bye!

* This is written at the time of the Iceland volcano “Eyjafjallajoekull”, the activity of which has grounded all UK flights and most of those in Europe too. Volcano experts will notice the similarity of the tagine to a volcano - note particularly the side vent to the left of the main crater.
