Today I move into my office- the small bedroom we call “Clare’s room” even when she is not here. To do this I first had to wire in a 3-pin socket. After all, it’s hard to run an office on a single 2-pin point next to the door!

I could still do with a phone though. It’s a quick run downstairs when the ‘dring’ goes, I have 6 before the answer-phone kicks in.

But now it is all installed and the cat has come to see me here. She appears to like someone being up here with her. And I can check the web-sites out on 2 computers with ease. The only problem is that I have found some irritating issues with a couple of pages....

And I get to listen to the radio - radio 7, Hancock’s Half Hour on ‘listen again’ is playing at the moment. Ahh, a reminder of the old days.
