Well it’s a lot warmer, and feeling a little stormy, so it was no surprise that the wind got up this afternoon and it finally rained!
So what’s all the fuss? Well neither of us can recall when it last rained, and the garden could do with it. We suspect it was not so long ago but our memories are short these days.

bark-covered path
June has had the idea of using the old bark that came of the logs we had delivered to put on the weedy path. It is certainly a lot less muddy! and it uses the slag that does not burn well and was just a mess outside. It seamed a shame to take it to the tip, and so it was because now we have free path cover.
